The Softmount is developed to accommodate a variety of the end-users’ different 7.62 mm and 5.56 mm weapons.
When placed in the Softmount, the precision of the weapon is significantly improved due to the stability of the buffer mount, leading to faster target acquisition and reduced ammunition usage. The recoil absorption almost eliminates vibrations, making the Softmount the optimal ergonomic workstation for the soldier.
An additional advantage is the reduced risk of collateral damage because targeting can be done with precision when using the Softmount.
