This Ringmount is the most common SIMA Innovation Ringmount. It has a weight of 115 kg incl. a watertight armoured hatch. The Ringmount is designed with a single aluminium bearing.
It is operated by an electrical slipring which is cable-free. This means that the operator can turn 360 degrees.
This Ringmount is used for all kinds of armoured vehicles from 4×4, 6×6, 8×8 APC, trucks, logistic vehicles and for open vehicles (SOF).
It is run by an electric motor operated by a small “thumb joystick”. In case of emergency, it can also be operated manually with a handwheel.
The RM750SB-ES is a modular Ringmount, and a variety of additional equipment can be added or upgraded at a later stage like:
- EMC proof according to MIL-STD 461G
- Gunner Protection Kit, sun cover, wire cutter, spare barrel holder, ammo boxes brackets etc.
- Self-Protecting System (smoke grenade launcher)
