Ringmount RM665SB-EC

This Ringmount is the smallest and lightest electrical Ringmount from SIMA. It is mainly used for trucks, logistic vehicles and for open vehicles (SOF) where the vehicle space is limited to intergrade larger Ringmount and weight is paramount.

This Ringmount is the smallest and lightest electrical Ringmount from SIMA with a weight of only 60 kg excl. hatch, and 90 kg incl. a watertight armoured hatch. It works with a cable and can be turned 360 degrees (but after heading back the operator must turn back to the front before being able to turn to the other side – which is a difference from the larger Ringmounts which are all operated with an electrical slipring.

The Ringmount is designed with a single aluminium bearing and is mainly used for trucks, logistic vehicles and for open vehicles (SOF) where the vehicle space is limited to intergrade larger Ringmount and weight is paramount.

On request the Ringmount can be electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) modified.

Like the rest of SIMA’s Ringmounts the 665 is a modular Ringmount and a variety of additional equipment can be added or upgraded at a later stage like: Different Softmounts, Gunner Protection Kit (GPK), sun cover, ammo boxes etc.

 

NB: This Ringmount can also be constructed as a manual Ringmount. Due to the concept of interchangeability and interoperability it can – of course be – upgraded to an electric version at a later stage.
